国际焊接工艺评定（Welding Procedure Qualification, WPQR)是为了检验焊接工艺的正确性而进行的试验过程及评价结果。

目的：
1.评定施焊组织的焊接操作能力，即所焊接的式样是否满足相关的标准、技术规范要求。
2.检验施焊组织的（预）焊接工艺（WPS或pWPS）是否正确。
3.为制定正式的符合组织要求的焊接工艺指导书或者焊接工艺卡提供技术支持。
适用范围：
1.适用的焊接方法：焊条电弧焊，钨极氩弧焊，非熔化极气体保护焊，熔化极气体保护焊，埋弧焊，等离子焊，氧乙炔焊，螺柱焊，电渣焊等所有的自动、半自动及手动焊接方法。
2.适用的产品：压力容器，压力管道，锅炉，桥梁，船舶，结构钢件等所有的熔化焊、非熔化焊及电阻焊等。
